What you'll do
- Design, develop, edit, and deliver accurate and effective developer documentation for Okta products.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, Support, Developer Content Strategy, and members of the Information Development team to ensure quality and accuracy of content.
- Prioritize projects when working with multiple engineering teams.
- Collaborate with developers to review and finalize API documentation.
- Analyze customer feedback before and after delivering documentation to enhance content depth, quality, and relevance.
Requirements
- 1-2 years relevant experience writing developer documentation for Cloud or Enterprise products
- Bachelor degree or certificate in Technical Writing is preferred
- Experience writing developer and API documentation
- Experience using Visual Studio Code, Redocly or similar developer documentation tools
- Experience using source control tools such as Git and GitHub and creating content in Markdown and YAML
- Strong ability to understand the application of security products in the real world and produce use case-based content
