Professional Services Success Engineer

Summary
Help new and existing customers succeed with data analytics by providing technical guidance and support as a Success Engineer at Metabase.
What you'll do
- Working with customers to understand their needs
- Executing plans to transform data or create dashboards
- Providing guidance on best practices
- Constructing SQL queries to analyze data in Metabase
- Debugging embedding issues in a programming language
- Collaborating with the writing team
Requirements
- Have a strong technical background (minimum of 3 -5 years writing production code or administering systems)
- Have experience with using data visualization or data analytics tools (bonus if you have experience using Metabase)
- Have experience in a customer facing role on similar team (like professional services or consulting team)
- You are an expert in at least two of: Running Metabase on a variety of operating systems for multiple years, Strong background in networking and how web applications function, Managing servers (either physical, or Docker, or AWS/GCP/etc), Managing databases and strong SQL skills, Front-end engineering
- Have experience with open-source products
- Are fluent in multiple languages (this is helpful as our users are world-wide)
