What you'll do

  • Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to develop effective, customer-focused documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with customer-facing technical staff on best practices, onboarding material, and other scenario-based guidance.
  • Help drive an information-architecture approach to organizing content based on customer use cases.
  • Help continually improve authoring and production tools and processes.
  • Edit content for technical accuracy, grammar, usage, adherence to style, and fit within information architecture.
  • Manage contributed articles through technical review, content edits, and publication.
  • Create videos and diagrams to help customers grasp concepts and workflows in data science.

Requirements

  • 4+ years documenting sophisticated technologies for developers and IT professionals, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and professional communication skills
  • Mastery of technical writing tools and style
  • Experience working with data products
  • Experience working with cloud platforms
  • Demonstrated understanding of information architecture concepts
  • Proven project management skills
  • Proficiency in Markdown-style formats with Git and GitHub
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Experience using data and customer feedback to drive decision-making
  • Experience creating instructional video and visual media
  • Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning techniques
  • Working knowledge of Python in data science
