What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement strategy, both online and offline.
  • Represent CircleCI in various developer forums and platforms, providing resources, answering queries, and building relationships.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute community events and meetups to foster engagement and build stronger relationships within the community.
  • Identify key community members and leverage their expertise to assist others and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Create and manage a content calendar for community engagement, including blog posts, webinars, Q&A sessions, and other relevant content.
  • Support the Global Events Manager to identify relevant events, securing internal and external high quality speakers, panelists and workshop facilitators.
  • Support the content and social media teams to create, share and amplify community orientated content that aligns with our brand.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address community feedback and concerns.

Requirements

  • Experience in community management, preferably within a tech or developer-focused company
  • Proven experience in measuring and reporting on community health and growth, and taking a data-driven approach to community management
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Experience planning and executing events, both online and offline
  • Strong understanding of developer communities and the ability to engage with them effectively
  • Proactive problem solver with a strong sense of ownership and a 'get things done' attitude
  • Experience with social media management and content creation
  • Proficiency in using community platforms, social media, and CRM software
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passionate about helping and empowering others, particularly within the developer community
